The zekan roshei hayeshivos in the United States, Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Philadelphia and senior member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudath Israel of America, who just a week ago celebrated his 100th birthday, paid a rare visit this week to the home of the Skverer Rebbe in Shikun Skver.

Rav Shmuel went on Tuesday to meet with the Skverer Rebbe during a trip to New York for a family chasunah.

During their conversation, memories were shared about the friendship and admiration between their fathers, Rav Yaakov Kamenetsky zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vodaas, and the Skverer Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Yosef Twerski zt”l.

The Skverer Rebbe wished the Rosh Yeshiva, “עוד ינובון בשיבה דשנים ורעננים יהיו,” and accompanied the Rosh Yeshiva as he left.
