An Israeli woman in her 70s was seriously injured shortly before midnight tonight in a Hezbollah rocket attack.  Hezbollah launched a barrage of tens of rockets from Lebanon at Nahariya in northern Israel.

Magen David Adom said it treated two injured people at the scene of a fallen rocket, including one in serious condition and the other, a man in his 80s, in light condition.  Several others were treated for anxiety.

The Hezbollah rocket barrage comes as Israel and Lebanon are reportedly close to a ceasefire agreement, which would reportedly include an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory, with written guarantees from the US for it’s freedom of action if Hezbollah violates the deal.

The Israeli security cabinet is slated to meet once again tomorrow to discuss the deal, which has faced pushback from northern Israeli residents and Otzma Yehudit’s Itamar Ben-Gvir.
