Hezbollah has received a copy of the US ceasefire proposal,  sent to the Speaker of Lebanon’s Parliament, Nabih Berri, according to Al Jazeera, the Qatari pro-Hamas propaganda outlet.

According to the report, Hezbollah will look over the proposal, and inform Berri of its response.

Last night, the Lebanese channel Al Jadeed reported that Berri sent a message back to the US Embassy after receiving the proposal, expressing optimism regarding the possibility of achieving a ceasefire deal within days or a week.

Reportedly, a key part of the deal would be the immediate activation of the Lebanese military along the Litani river, to prevent any Hezbollah terrorists or arms from re-entering the area.
