With immense sadness, Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Avrohom Nesanel Zucker zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah Ohr Yisroel in Marine Park, Brooklyn.

Rav Zucker petirah leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, talmidim, and the many who were privileged to know him.

Rav Zucker tragically passed away weeks after being involved in a serious accident that left him in a coma. From the time of the accident, Klal Yisroel joined together in heartfelt tefillos for the recovery of Refoel Avrohom Nesanel ben Masha Liba, storming the heavens in the hopes that he would be restored to health. Sadly, over Shabbos, Rav Zucker was niftar.

As a rebbi and rosh yeshiva, Rav Zucker was deeply beloved by his talmidim. His unique ability to connect with each individual, his genuine care for their growth, and his unrelenting concern for both their spiritual and physical well-being were hallmarks of his life’s avodah.

He wasn’t just a rebbi. He was a father figure, a guide, and a source of unwavering support to countless bochurim who looked to him for inspiration and guidance. Rav Zucker’s dedication to the yeshiva and its talmidim knew no bounds. He worried about every talmid‘s needs, striving to bring out their potential and always ensuring that they felt valued and heard.

Rav Zucker is survived by his devoted wife, Mrs. Tobie Zucker, and their wonderful family, who have stood by his side throughout his life of avodas hakodesh.

Levayah details will be posted once they are finalized.

Yehi zichro boruch.
