Over 2000 JCP&L customers in Lakewood are out of power this afternoon as temperatures reach nearly 100°. Most of the power outages are in the south end of Lakewood. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time, but the electric company says power is expected to be restored by 6:00 PM today.
