As many as eight cars went up in flames early today, Acharon Shel Pesach after a fire broke out at the garage of the Armon Hotel on Summer Street in Stamford, Connecticut, the site of “the Pesach Experience” program catered by Chap a Nosh of Cedarhurst.

The cars were located in the covered portion of the open-air garage.

Firefighters used hose lines to extinguish the flames and cool the structural supports of the garage.

The garage eventually became compromised because of the blaze and the firefighters had to try to extinguish the fire from outside.

After 40 minutes, the fire was under control.

The entire hotel was evacuated.

By 10:30 a.m., the hotel reopened and most guests were allowed to return to their rooms.

There were no reported injuries.
