This morning, members of the LFD and other agencies participated in a Wildland Fire field day given by the NJ Forest Fire Service. The event took place at the Division B Office, located at the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest. Members participated in backburn operations, utilizing a fire shelter and establishing a control line.
