One of the victims of the Arab terror attack in the southern city of Be’er Sheva today was Rabbi Moshe Kravitzky z”l, a Chabad chossid in his 40s.

The announcement about his killing was delayed until his father in Belarus was notified.

Rabbi Kravitzky was a resident of the Nachlas Har Chabad neighborhood in Kiryat Malachi and went on to become a shliach and director of Chabad center in Nachal Beka in Beer Sheva.

For years, he also operated the local soup kitchen of the Colel Chabad organization which fed the elderly and people in need on a daily basis.

He was known for his sincerity, smile and his yiras shamayim.

“He was very dedicated to his shlichus,” said Beer Sheva Head Shliach Rabbi Zalman Gorelik. “Together with his family, he invested everything in the community – both materially and spiritually. We are in shock and are pained by this sad news.”

He is survived by his wife and 4 children.

Hashem yikom domov.
