Israel’s Health Ministry is currently mulling a decision to scrap the country’s current mask mandate as daily coronavirus cases continue to drop.

Israel’s coronavirus czar Prof. Nachman Ash said Thursday the decision would likely only apply to outdoor activities.

Meanwhile, the latest Health Ministry statistics showed on Thursday that half of Israel’s 9 million-strong population has received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, while 55.96% of the population has received at least one jab.
