R’ Tzvi Hirsch Porush, 58, a well-known figure of Rechov Shomrei Emunim neighborhood in Mea Shearim passed away in Shaarei Tzedek Hospital on Friday night. R’ Porush was sitting shiva for his wife, Baila, 52, a’h, who passed away from the virus last week, when he collapsed at his home on Friday. MDA paramedics arrived and attempted to resuscitate him, eventually evacuating him to the hospital where his death was pronounced on Friday night. The couple, who lost their oldest son a year ago, left four children, including one son who is hospitalized in serious condition with the coronavirus, sedated and on a ventilator. The pubic is asked to daven for: Chaim Mordechai ben Baila b’soch sha’ar cholei Yisrael. Over Shabbos, Chana Leah Hershler, a’h, another resident of Rechov Shomrei Emunim passed away in Shaarei Tzedek Hospital from the coronavirus.
