If R’ Chaim’s learning and faith is not enough to protect him how can he tell anyone to expose themselves to this. R’ Yehoshua went out among the sick as he was holy enough, but he did not require anyone else to expose themselves.
If this is what R’ Chaim ruled, he is ruling you should be oiver the gravest sin in the Torah. Even a Navi has to prove himself to tell you to commit a sin, is R’ Chaim on that level. If yes he can overrule even a Taana, which would be crazy to suggest. You cannot listen to R’ Chaim here and anyone listening to him is equivalent to one who listens to a Navi Sheker (if you don’t first require him to pass the necessary tests). If you will tell me to be careful as this is R’ Chaim we are talking about, I would tell you in turn to be careful as you are violating the gravest sin in the Torah. Enough with the stupidity and ignorance. If he dares advise anyone they should expose themselves to this, he is obligated to show he is on the proper level to suggest that by first exposing himself to this. If he does not, he is a hypocrite and definitely a koifer b’ikkar. The teshuva he has to do for this and the teshuva those relying on his ruling will have to do, is terrible to contemplate.
