Coca-Cola’s CEO, James Quincey, presented President-elect Donald Trump with an exclusive commemorative Diet Coke bottle to mark the occasion of his forthcoming inauguration.

“Tonight, President Trump received the first-ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, James Quincey,” stated Margo Martin, Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, in a post on X this Tuesday. She included a photo showing both Trump and Quincey holding the special bottle.

The unique glass bottle is adorned with a custom label featuring an image of the White House and the inscription, “The Inauguration of the President of the United States Donald J. Trump.” Trump’s affection for Diet Coke has been well-documented even before his presidency. Back in 2012, Trump made a memorable remark on what was then Twitter, declaring he had never “seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.”

In another tweet, he remarked that he would “still keep drinking that garbage” despite the company’s apparent dissatisfaction with him. During his first term in office, Trump also famously had a large red button on his Oval Office desk to request Diet Coke from an aide.
