A Lakewood resident was hospitalized following a house fire Monday evening in the Leisure Village neighborhood. The fire which broke out at a home on Edinburgh lane at about 11pm, was quickly brought under control by responding firefighters. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal.
