Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is not expected to be present at the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20, according to a senior official who spoke to the Times of Israel.

While it’s uncommon for foreign leaders to participate in U.S. presidential inaugurations, a few international figures are set to attend the event. Among them are Argentine President Javier Milei and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

This news about Netanyahu followed a video shared by Trump on his TruthSocial account, featuring economist Jeffrey Sachs. In the clip, Sachs referred to Netanyahu as a “deep, dark son of a [profanity].”

“[Netanyahu’s] gotten us into endless wars and because of the power of all of this in US politics, he’s gotten his way,” Sachs stated in the video.
