Yesterday, two adult Jews from Odessa, Ukraine, were given a Bris Milah, and were named after Rabbi Zvi Kogan Hy”d, the Chabad emissary who was murdered in the United Arab Emirates over the weekend.

Rabbi Kogan had worked as a Chabad Shaliach in Odessa for two years before living in the UAE.

The current Chabad Shaliach in Odessa, Rabbi Shneur Vigler, served as the Mohel for the two men.

The UAE’s Ministry of Interior published photos Monday morning of the suspects in the murder of Rabbi Kogan, and released their names: Olimpi Tohirovich (28 years old), Makhmudjon Abdurrahim (28 years old), and Azizi Kamilovich (33 years old), all originally from Uzbekistan.

Channel Two News has reported that Israeli security sources believe the kidnapping and murder may not have been an Iranian operation.  The UAE has also rejected the claim that Iran was behind the murder.
