Former President Donald Trump has announced plans to spend part of his weekend working behind the counter at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, where he intends to try his hand at “working the fry cooker.”

This move seems to be a playful jab at Vice President Kamala Harris, who has frequently mentioned in the past that she worked at McDonald’s but has yet to provide any proof or documentation to substantiate her claims.

“Kamala never had a job at McDonald’s. Her resume talks about McDonald’s, McDonald’s, McDonald’s,” Trump commented during a press conference in New York last month.

“Why won’t they just provide real documentation and proof?” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung questioned in an interview with The Daily Beast. “The onus is on them. What does she have to hide?”

Trump had hinted at taking this action for a while, even discussing it during a rally in Pennsylvania where he mentioned he might “work the French fry job for about a half an hour.” Later, at another rally in Nevada, he confirmed his intention to follow through with the plan.
