Oakland, CA — The Jerusalem Coffee House, a café in Oakland known for its pro-Hamas stance, has sparked outrage by unveiling a celebration menu in honor of the October 7 attacks, featuring drinks named after Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and the terrorist “intifada” assaults in Israel.

The café, operated by Abdulrahim Harara, a self-identified pro-Hamas extremist, has gained notoriety for hosting events that promote Islamic fundamentalism. On the anniversary of the October 7 attacks, Harara plans to hold an Islamic prayer service to honor Muslim “martyrs,” further fueling concerns over the café’s ideological leanings.

Harara’s parents, originally from Gaza, were granted settlement in the United States, raising questions about his vocal support for terrorist activities targeting Americans. The café has also been known to post flyers promoting Antifa events on its social media, despite the contentious history of Palestinian support for Nazism and the use of Nazi symbols in the Palestinian territories.

The Jerusalem Coffee House’s menu and events have drawn criticism from community members and organizations that condemn the glorification of violence and terrorism.
