Elon Musk appeared at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where former President Donald Trump was celebrating a significant victory. This event took place three months after the failed assassination attempt on Trump’s life, and Musk used the opportunity to offer his strong endorsement of the Republican candidate, while also urging people to ensure they are registered to vote.

Musk, 53, entertained the crowd by quipping that he’s “not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA,” drawing enthusiastic cheers from the audience of over 20,000, all while wearing an entirely black outfit that included a custom black MAGA hat.

“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America,” Musk told the crowd emphatically.

In his short speech, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO criticized President Biden and the Democratic Party, while offering high praise for Trump, 78. The stage he stood on was the same one where Trump had been grazed by a bullet during an assassination attempt on July 13 by Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old gunman.

“You know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs, and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot,” Musk remarked, prompting loud applause from the crowd.

Musk continuously encouraged people to get out and register to vote ahead of the November 5 election, calling it a “must-win situation.”

“Register to vote. Get everyone you know — and everyone you don’t know. Drag them to register to vote,” he urged.

“If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction. Nothing’s more important,” Musk warned.

The head of X and the wealthiest person in the world has increasingly used his platform to voice his support for Republicans, a shift that has coincided with numerous investigations launched by regulatory agencies under Biden’s administration.

Musk has also begun to financially back his political stance. In August, he donated $289,100 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, according to records from the Federal Election Commission.

Over the past year, Musk and Trump have developed a friendly rapport. In August, they had a lengthy conversation that lasted over two hours on X, discussing the state of the election and the challenges facing the country.

On social media, Musk has consistently expressed his admiration for Trump.

“Trump will save democracy and America. Mark my words. Kamala/Harris would be a disaster,” Musk stated in a post on X in August. “Very few Americans realize that, if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election. Far from being a threat to democracy, he is the only way to save it!” he emphasized last month.

Before concluding his 90-minute speech, Trump made a bold promise, stating that with Musk’s assistance, the United States would “reach Mars” by the end of his next term if he is re-elected.
