After announcing the start of IDF ground operations in Southern Lebanon, the IDF released for publication that Israeli special forces have conducted 70 raids inside Lebanon, over 200 nights, destroying 700 Hezbollah targets. Some of the raids lasted as long as three days, and some went as far as 10km into Lebanon.

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said: ”Tonight, we are de-classifying a series of IDF operations conducted since the beginning of the war aimed at dismantling Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure and capabilities in the area of the Israel Lebanon border as part of our efforts to make sure that the residents of northern Israel can return to their homes in safety and security without the threat of Hezbollah on their doorstep.”

Hagari went on to detail Hezbollah’s plan to ‘conquer the Galil,’ a October 7th style attack. This included details such as locations, and video footage, from three destroyed Hezbollah sites along the border with Israel. IDF soldiers entered Hezbollah tunnels, located weapons, gathered intelligence, and destroyed the sites alongside the Israeli Air Force.
