A young scooterist who collided with a vehicle on Erev Shabbos in Lakewood was saved by his helmet, emergency personnel tell TLS. The incident happened on Walnut Avenue around 4:00 PM. The boy, seven, suffered some broken bones, and was transported to JSUMC. He is expected to make a full recovery.
