A child riding a scooter was injured after colliding with a vehicle in the Westgate neighborhood this morning. The accident happened approximately 9:00 AM on Kingsfield Drive. Hatzolah paramedics treated the child before transporting him to the hospital. Injuries were reportedly serious, but not life-threatening. Police are investigating the incident.
