Today marks 17 years since the tragic passing of LPD Officer William “Nichie” Preslar, who died in the Line of Duty. He was a six-year veteran who lost his life in a car crash on May 14, 2007, on New Egypt Road in Lakewood while swerving to avoid a deer.
