Authorities are investigating a shooting in Toms River this afternoon, TLS has learned. Police received multiple calls about the shooting, which occurred in the Whitesville area of the Township. Multiple casings were reportedly located, though there are no current reports of anyone struck by the gunfire. Toms River’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.
