The release of the fifth group of hostages held by Hamas commenced this evening, Tuesday. The ten hostages earmarked for release are currently in the process of being transferred to the Red Cross. They are expected to return to Israel later tonight. About 150 people are believed to still be held as hostages in Gaza, out of 240 who were kidnapped on October 7.
