Emotions are running high as the hostage swap, originally set for 10 AM this morning, has been delayed until Friday. The anticipated plan is for Israel and Hamas to proceed with the exchange of 50 Israeli hostages held by Hamas, primarily women and children, for 150 Palestinian prisoners. Prayers are being poured forth from across the globe, as the entire Jewish nation cries, waits, and prays for a miracle.
Amidst this backdrop of uncertainty, there is an unspoken story – that of the Israeli soldiers. These men and women are young, and they’re on the front lines, putting their lives on the line to protect our nation and to help bring as many hostages as possible back home.
Support for the IDF soldiers is urgently needed, from protective equipment to medical supplies. It doesn’t matter what kind of Jew you are- It is a huge mitzvah to support those who put their own lives on the line to defend the Jewish nation.
