The head of the Beit Al local council, Shai Alon, was in front of the car in which Hillel and Yigal Yaniv, h’yd, were shot to death in a terror attack in the Shomron on Sunday afternoon. “I was sure they were shooting at me,” Alon told Arutz Sheva. “It was one of the worst experiences in my life.” “I was on my way to pay a shiva visit in Kedumim and suddenly I heard gunfire. I looked out the window and saw people beginning to run. I understood that an incident occurred – I thought it was related to the army. “And then I felt a strong blow – the car behind me slammed into me after losing control of the car – apparently the driver was killed. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.” “We can’t overlook this. We have to enter Jenin and clean their houses of ammunition. There’s a war going on and we have to act.” (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)
