NYPD Brass & clergy leaders held a vigil at the 66th Precinct in memory of Police Officer Adeed Fayaz who was killed in East New York two weeks during an armed robbery. NYPD executives in attendance included Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey, Commanding Officer of Brooklyn South Chief Charles McEvoy, Commanding Officer of Brooklyn North Chief Scott Henderson, Commanding Officer of Community Affairs Inspector Richie Taylor and the Commanding Officer of the 66th Precinct Deputy Inspector Jason Hagestad. Over 100 community members attended the vigil including members of the Boro Park and Flatbush Shomrim Patrols, Misaskim and Hatzolah volunteers in a tremendous show of solidarity with the family of the fallen officer and the NYPD. 07 (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)
